Welcome to Saint Clare of Assisi Faith Formation

Here at St. Clare’s, we offer a comprehensive Religious Education program for all children in Kindergarten through grade 8.  The goal of our formal Religious Education Program is to assist the parents, who are the primary educators of our children, in deepening their child’s spiritual development.  This goal is accomplished using many mediums including formal classroom instruction, retreats, parent meetings, and liturgical celebrations.  In addition to traditional PREP(Parish Religious Education Program) St. Clare offers alternatives such as FREM(Family Religious Education Model) and ASREP (Accelerated Summer Religious Education Model) for those who qualify. Classes meet weekly from September to May and students are provided with textbooks that cover material at a grade appropriate level and build each year on the prior years knowledge. 

All of our programs are staffed with volunteer catechists who instruct the children.  Training for all catechists is provided and various workshops are offered throughout the year.  This is a wonderful opportunity to share your faith journey with our children.  If you would like more information on how you can make a difference in our parish community, contact Patricia Patterson at 467-5426 ext 102.
